I’m Paige, a Salem based artist that focuses on character design and development with an ink and line focused style. I’m inspired by all sorts of odd things, but monsters are one thing I can’t draw enough inspiration from, so much so that my thesis in art school was about monsters and their parallel to the human experience.
When people look at my work, other than thinking generally that it’s nice, I hope it makes them feel a little less alone. I think in some way, every person can relate to feeling strange and separate from the people around them. But in that regard, I hope it makes them feel a little closer to one another. We shall be monsters, but in that regard, we will be all the closer.
