Aranxa, is a Salem-based community member who recently completed her first public mural, The Ground We Share / La Tierra que Compartimos. While not a practicing artist by trade, she values creative expression as a way to honor culture, community, and connection. Her inspiration for the mural came from her Puerto Rican roots and her love for Salem, where she has spent most of her life. This project represents a unique and meaningful milestone in her journey, one that reflects her respect for art and the role it plays in strengthening community ties.
