My name is Bruce Orr and I am a Beverly based artist and arts educator. I grew up in Delaware City, made comics and illustrations in Philadelphia, and created The Mudeye Puppet Company in Portland, Oregon. I lead multiple mural projects with teens in Lynn before starting InkWell, a free youth arts program based primarily at Peabody Main Library. I built the “Garden City” installation in Beverly and dream of turning it or some other abandominium into a community art center. I am honored to be a part of the Urban Art Museum and hope my work makes you go make something.
