My Name is Alba, AKA Panky. I was born in Boston. Growing up, I watched my grandfather paint signs and wanted to be just like him. I grew up with a deaf mother and wanted to learn sign language to interpret for her and others. I identify as Italian and Native American and Catholic. My favorite hobby is drawing. My favorite Animal is a Unicorn. I am excited to tell folks that I made a mural.
My concept. My nana loves coffee, she used to smoke a lot and she was able to trade it for coffee. We got used to going to DD and walking there together. I love my nana (Justina), and she loves coffee. I also love America and the slogan for DD is “America runs on Dunkin”. Coffee brings me closer to home because it reminds me of my grandmother Justina.
