Artist

I am a queer second generation Chinese-American visual artist, driven by my passionate belief in the limitless power of art and storytelling for greater social change. Since 2022, I’ve begun transitioning my practice into public art and mural making. I hopes to reclaim public spaces for local communities through artwork that inspires curiosity, empathy, and collective healing. In 2024, I was an Artist-in-Residence for the Urbano Project, teaching a 3 month program to local youth about using urban sketching and plein air drawing as a way to connect with the communities they are a part of, and then transferring what they learned from observational drawing into a collaborative mural at the end. In 2025, I’ve worked with PUAM to create a mural for the Muñeca sin Rostro project in Palmer Cove, and to create a mural at La Delicia in El Punto for the Art of Small Business program.
