My project is a little book which is meant to help children make sense of what they can do for themselves to stay healthy during this global coronavirus pandemic. When children have tools to make informed decisions, they are able to live their lives with strength, confidence and safety.

My booklet, Mi Libro COVID, is written in both English and Spanish. Children like to see themselves in their books, so I have included all sorts of children in the illustrations. The cover is purposely non-gender specific, so each child can see him or herself there. Children can each color it to look like themselves, their friends and their family.

The book does not need many supplies to make. It takes only one sheet of paper which can be printed one-sided, then folded into a booklet with no staples or glue required.
