The American Dream

This piece is a collaboration between Tatianna Rivas and Jacob Ginga. Tatianna has an amazing concept for her mural which includes a poem written by her and her cultural influences all represented in the hair of a self portrait. The hair is big, powerful, and beautiful. The portrait will represent all for the things that have inspired her so far and the others things she believes are possible because of the American dream. “This picture is comprised of the 4 countries I identify with. These 4 countries combined make me into the person I am today. It also highlights how my inherit intelligence and culture marries who I am within the land of opportunity of which I was born,” said Tati.
