Okuda San Miguel’s street art is considered Pop Surrealist as he uses rainbow geometric shapes blended with organic shapes, bodies without identity, interesting animals, and symbols that encourage reflection in artistic pieces. Okuda’s Mural in Salem titled “Cat Witch” unites the human form with the identity of a cat in multicolor skin that depicts diversity, all races united. Because the mural is based in Salem and they often represent a witch’s familiar, Okuda’s muse was a cat. Due to the rough texture of the wall, Okuda made a large figure, despite it being one of his smaller murals.
