I grew up in Miami, Florida, as the half-latina daughter of two immigrants. When I graduated high school, I spent a year as a part of the City Year program in Boston, and discovered I want to be a teacher. As a student at Umass Boston, I study education, and my goal is to become an ESL teacher in the city. Art has always been my favorite hobby, and I try to spread important messages with every work I create.
