Activities

This activity sheet includes a combination of activities that can be done directly on the paper as well as additional activity ideas that can be done at home with the family. The activities are designed to strengthen vocabulary,  boost memory skills, promote gratitude  and foster creativity, as well as cooperation. Visually it is a picture of an urban street, one that could fit right into the landscape of many regions, including North Shore. These particular buildings have a variety of flowers reaching through their windows and blooming under the sun. It is a markedly wonderful contrast to see the harmony between urban and natural elements. I hope that this visual can serve as an inspiration to be like a garden of colorful flowers: pushing through the cracks, growing towards the light, and helping to create a positive effect on our surroundings, especially important during these unprecedented  times.
