Melanio Antonio Guzmán Batista (Melanio), was born in the city of Moca, in the Dominican Republic, in 1978. He is a graduate of Architecture at the Technological University of Santiago (UTESA) and is essentially a self-taught artist; exploring multiple techniques that he has developed and perfected over time. He has achieved national and international prominence, managing to produce more than two thousand works of art in his artistic career. He has made a number of individual and collective exhibitions, as well as has obtained multiple awards and artistic recognitions.At this moment he is expanding his horizons towards Europe. He where he will exhibit a solo exhibition in the City of Berlin Germany in September 2022 and in Vienna Austria in March 2023.
