My work seeks to engage in a dynamic exploration of the human experience by focusing on authentic portrayals of trauma, mental health and marginality. Embracing a multidisciplinary approach, my artistic practice is an ongoing experiment with diverse mediums and surfaces. By presenting the complexities of humanity through BIPOC subjects, I seek to challenge historical misrepresentations and harmful propaganda. My work goes beyond aesthetic appeal, as it functions to aid in community healing, growth, and expansion. At this pivotal phase in my artistic practice, I am actively seeking opportunities to expand the reach of my work beyond Boston. In development are projects that include woodworking, experimental paintings, and mixed-media installations. Through these works, I aim to contribute to a broader dialogue surrounding how we deal with trauma and fostering understanding on a global scale.
