About Consuelo Terra & Carolina Sepúlveda

Hi! We are Consuelo Terra and Carolina Sepulveda, life and creative partners from Chile, now living in Cambridge, MA. 

Consuelo is a journalist and cartoonist who publishes a weekly comic in Nerdnews.cl and is about to publish her first graphic novel “Mamá, yo te recuerdo”, coauthored with Emiliano Valenzuela, with Reservoir Books in Chile. She did the art of the comic “Water stations save lives”, for the anthology book “BORDERx, a crisis in graphic detail”.

Carolina is an architect, artist, curator and researcher with a Master in Design Studies from Harvard GSD. Her curatorial and research work intersects activism, reproductive rights, housing in the Global South and the built environment. She is currently developing her thesis project, Sacred Women Oracle, a deck game with Latin American goddesses to empower migrant Latinas about their rights. The project also contemplates a broad research and cartographies of the Mexico-US border regime.
